Sacred Encounters Begin
Having arrived in Kannur, meet your tour leader and transfer to Kasargod.
Get ready to witness Theyyam, the Dancing Gods of Kerala, where the
dancer becomes the embodiment of a sacred deity. Theyyam Trail will be led
by a seasoned guide who has a good knowledge of the art form and local
culture. Photo opportunities that would not interrupt the Theyyam
performances.
NOTE: Night Theyyam lasts past midnight (4 am). Prepare accordingly.

Day 2
Date : February 25, 2026
Divine Artistry & Waterways
Get ready to witness another Theyyam at a different place. Interact with the
Theyyam performers to gain a deeper understanding of the artistry, take a
closer look at the intricacies of their costumes, and speak with Theyyam
experts for a more nuanced perspective. In the afternoon, enjoy a sunset
cruise sailing through the serene Thejaswini River and estuaries.

Day 3
Date : February 26, 2026
Rituals & Maritime Heritage
Today, we will witness another Theyyam at a different place. After that, we
will visit a traditional harbour and delve into its bustling atmosphere.
Witness the unloading of fresh fish from boats, experience a live fish
auction, and participate in wholesale and retail fish sales. Interact with local
fishermen and fish sellers, locals coming to procure fresh seafood. Witness
how seafood is cleaned, sorted, and exported.

Day 4
Date : February 27, 2026
Traditional Artisanship & Nature
Today we will visit a village to experience coir making, visit a local loom
unit, a clams processing unit, bell metal craft unit. We will visit a temple in
Payyanur and enjoy the authentic Kerala lunch (Sadhya experience in a city
restaurant). In the evening, we can do either kayaking through the
mangroves or a speedboat ride around the island.

- Night Theyyam performances can last past midnight until approximately 4 AM. Participants should be prepared for late-night schedules and carry appropriate clothing, snacks, and energy supplements.

- Rest 50% before one week of the trip.
- Upon cancellation done before (30 days) one month of the trip,
100% refund of the total cost. - Upon cancellation done before 20-29 days of the trip, 50% refund of
the total cost. - Upon cancellation done before 11-20 days of the trip, 25% refund of
the total cost. - Upon cancellation done before 10 days of the trip, no refund.
